Cupcakes

My allergic child attended three Halloween parties this year. I packed Guardian Angel chocolate cupcakes that are dairy, egg and nut free. They have been on sale at our local Metro store, package of six for $3.99! They are individually wrapped and can be frozen.

Guardian Angel also makes advent calenders that have dairy egg and nut free chocolates in them. They are available online.

Left over Candy

Have extra candy, or candy containing your allergens Halloween Candy Buy Back is an interesting option. Dentists will buy your candy to send to US Troops over seas.

Other people bring candy with allergens in them into their place of work, food banks or retirement homes.

Many families trade candy or leave for the "pumpkin fairy" who leaves a small toy.
