Happy Canadian Thanksgiving weekend, Monday is Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is a time of year we give thanks for many things, as well as the celebration of the last harvest, that we share with friends and family.
Many people use Thanksgiving as a time to share with people who have less, thus the food banks. I sometimes think people use harvest celebrations as a way to "share" the last harvest of zucchini, that they grew too many of.

Why do Americans celebrate Thankgiving in November. are they harvesting in November? Do they celebrate the last harvest, a month after the last harvest has been finished? Americans may just celerbrate the last Harvest in November, so people will not share the last harvest of zucchini with them.
