EMS Week May 17 - 23 Emergency Medical Services
I would like to give a shout out to the EMS workers. I have only had good experiences with Ambulance Attendents and front line workers. For many of our readers the memmory of their first allergic reaction, involves the EMS.
National Emergency Medical Services Week brings together local communities and medical personnel to publicize safety and honor the dedication of those who provide the day-to-day lifesaving services of medicine's "front line."

We have an awesome EMS team in our community. I would suggest that food allergy families call their local ambulance and ask if they carry epinephrine on board. Not all do. Also, if you have a child with food allergy, make sure they carry a junior strength.
Our EMS even offered to give my FA son a tour of the ambulance so he wouldn't be so scared in the event we needed to call them. What a wonderful, dedicated group of people!
Good post! The EMS folks deserve a ot more credit than they receive.
I think they do a great job for the community. Keep up the good work guys!
