Pet Peeves

Pet peeves about food manufactures, I know negative energy and all, but here I go.

1) They list on packaging or website No Food Allergens
Do they mean top eight food allergens, no nuts or no milk. What food allergens don't they have. What about cross contamination, this tells me nothing. Also if they product has no food allergens then the product does not contain food (ha).

2) One person in the company tells me one thing, another person tells me another.
I have received unclear E-mails in response to an allergy related question, or product information. I then ask the same question via a different E-mail address, and recieved a different answer.

3) The company tells me ingredient information is proprietary information.
Come on, I'm not looking for exact formulations just if their products contains milk.

4) The products package does not mention allergens, but the website does.
Their are no may contain statements on the packaging, but the website says all products may contain milk and nuts.
