Canadian Anaphyaxis Initiative has a website, expect to hear more about them this fall! You can also follow them on Facebook.
It is a network of Canadian families committed to raising awareness of anaphylaxis on Parliament Hill and with federal government officials
The Canadian Anaphylaxis Initiative (CAI) is a network of Canadian families, who are working with Members of Parliament to raise awareness in Ottawa regarding severe, life-threatening allergies.
Cindy Paskey, a CAI volunteer explains, “More and more Canadian families face the challenges of raising children with one or multiple severe allergies. We need a coordinated, thoughtful set of government initiatives that raises public understanding of anaphylaxis…. [This] will lead to reducing risk and to safer environments not only for those living with life-threatening allergies, but also for those providing care and services. Simple steps will save lives.”
