Spring is here! The air is warmer, the breeze is sweet, and the whole world seems to be bursting with new life. Easter is here on April 12th, and our vegan Springtime and Easter Chocolates are a fun way to celebrate.

As I have been appreciating springtime blooming all around me in the past few weeks, I have also made time to do some spring cleaning. Whether cleaning means getting rid of shoes you no longer wear or changing habits you find holding you back, clearing makes way for new opportunities and is a great way to usher in this season of growth and renewal.

Speaking of new life, Allison's Gourmet is introducing something new for all you peanut and chocolate lovers. We've added a thin layer of dark chocolate to make our crunchy and deliciously salty-sweet Organic Vegan Peanut Brittle with Chocolate one step closer to peanut heaven.

Guardian Angel Bunnies

I received my Nut, Milk and Egg free chocolate rabbits from Guardian Angel Foods.

They are in stores in Quebec, but not Ontario. Much to my disappointment Metro sells Guardian Angel cakes cookies and muffins but not Guardian Angel chocolate bunnies or bread in Ontario.

So I bit the bullet and mail ordered, at least I got a 2$ coupon off my next Guardian Angel cake with the package, and it arrived within a couple business days.

The rabbits look fantastic, I'm looking forward to giving them at Easter.

Easter time is at our doors! Guardian Angel Foods, in collaboration with the Easter Bunny, worked on something very special for you: peanut free, egg free, nut free and dairy free Easter chocolates. They are made with top quality ingredients and are already on sale. Enough to satisfy a bunch of kids who have never been able to enjoy chocolates before!

They are already available online. They will also be sold very shortly in selected PROXIM pharmacies (in Quebec), in bakeries where our products are being sold and at Toronto's Hospital for Sick Kids speciality store.

If you live close to our factory, you can also come get some directly here. But we do recommend that you call prior to visiting us...

In order to complete your Easter celebrations, we also offer, at our online store, chocolate chips and chocolate for fondue!

Hello Karen !

In Ontario, our Easter products are available only at the Sick Kids Hospital Specialty Shop. Metro doesn't carry them for the moment.

However, most of our clients order them online, at http://www.alimentsangegardien.com/boutiqueshopag/Default.2.html. The delivery only takes a couple of days.

Sunday, March 29 & Saturday April 4
Noon, 2 p.m. & 3:30 p.m.

Come to the New Canaan Nature Center for our annual outdoor easter egg hunt! Start off by meeting some animals who lay eggs (and some who don't) and then head out on the property for the great hunt! Over 400 easter eggs will be hidden filled with small nature-themed prizes and nut-free candy. Special eggs will contain tickets to NCNC special events, nature books, games and more!

Please bring your own basket or cloth bag for egg collection.

Hunts will take place rain or shine! (we'll head to the greenhouse in the event of inclement weather.)

Each session is limited to 20 children. Register early!!

What's with all the Easter chocolates and candies in stores so early?

At least almost half are nut free (at least in Canada) for our nut allergic friends.

In stores near me, we have some Ross Chocolates and Tropical Source chocolates, both are milk free chocolate bars.

So many more milk free chocolates available on line, in Canada and the US.
